THE ACADEMY IN BRIEF

THE FACILITY

The Academy is located near the coast in Houston, Guyana, adjacent to the Guyana Shore Base (GYSBI), where many graduates now work. 

 

The purpose-built training facility is set on 80,000 sq.ft. and includes offices, classrooms and practicals capabilities.

 

The same equipment that is used in the field  is used at the Academy, with requests for special equipment possible.

FOR COMPANIES

Companies can choose from standard courses or customize and combine from our extensive offering to suit unique requirements.

 

Our facilities can also be made available for specialized training using your expert instructors in specialized courses.

 

Flexible contracting models, including recruiting, scholarships and headcount transitions are available.  ​

FOR INDIVIDUALS

Courses are mainly provided through companies, although there are open courses which individuals can register for, in particular for industry basics.

 

Programs range from suitable for individuals with no experience, to those coming from other industries, for example mining, sugar.

 

The starting point is safety, which forms part of every course, and instills a safety culture in all who attend.
