TOTALTEC supports local community activities, ones which can make a real difference in the lives of Guyana citizens, communities where we live and work, and our environment.

An example is the Scarlet Ibis. The return of mangroves to parts of the Guyana coast has brought with it one of the most beautiful birds of South America and the Caribbean. The Scarlet Ibis is easily recognized by its brilliant color. These birds are now seen near Georgetown and the Guyana Shore Base.

TOTALTEC is supporting a project to give visibility to the return and rise of this magnificent bird. Through such initiatives we intend to make a difference, and set an example for the international companies new to Guyana to follow.
